Learn Advanced Techniques in the Latest Version of Apple® Industry Standard Editing Software

Final Cut Pro X® is a revolutionary video-editing application that makes it possible for beginners and seasoned professionals to achieve stunning results. This five-day hands-on course teaches 
hard-to-find advanced editing and finishing techniques. Learn how to use compound clips, create advanced animations and creative effects, color correct like a pro, and create complex audio mixes. This course also
 covers advanced workflows for managing media, as well as working with Compressor 4.

Students will use a variety of different types of media from documentary to narrative fiction. You will also have the opportunity to edit your own personal project and are encouraged to bring your own FCP compatible media.

• Organizing projects with advanced metadata techniques
• Advanced editing techniques including Roles
• Working with Compound Clips
• Advanced color correction including shape and color masks
• Creating custom effects including motion animation

Pro-Series Courses Open to Advanced Teens (15 & Older), College Students and Adult Learners | Advanced | Final Cut Pro® 200 or Equivalent Experience

This class is designed for those who already have a working knowledge of Final Cut Pro X® and who want to increase their skills by learning advanced features and efficient work flows.

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects, which they keep.

Apple Certification Note: This is an Apple Certified course and the material covered will prepare you for the OPTIONAL Apple® Certified Pro – Final Cut Pro X® Level Two certification. Please note that Final Cut Pro X® Level One certification is required before you can earn Final Cut Pro X® Level Two End User certification. If you want to take the end user exam at the end of your course, you can purchase it through DMA for an additional $100.
