Pro Series: Maya® 2012 – Character Creation

Character Creation with the Industry’s Leading Character Tool: Maya®

This course provides a hands-on experience with all facets of the character-creation process. Through this course, Maya® will be used to create a unique character that will be modeled, UVed, textured and rigged for animation. Character creation is among the most dynamic and exciting parts of 3D games and film, but without the right tools and proper knowledge of how to use them, creating characters that are usable in production is nearly impossible. Maya® is uniquely equipped with a robust collection of tools to generate sophisticated and dynamic characters that spring to life. In this course, the powers and functionality of Maya® will be harnessed to create new characters with custom skins and powerful rigs that are ready to perform in games, TV or film.
