Learn the Basics of Acting and Filmmaking in this Movie-making Adventure

This class features elements from “Adventures in Movie-Making” but has special attention paid to acting in front of the camera. Young actors learn special techniques that are needed to perform on a movie set. Campers are exposed to the auditioning and casting process, choreographed combat, public speaking, and improv–all through theater games.

Future film stars get to edit out their bloopers and add special effects at their very own film-editing station with Final Cut Pro®. At the end of the week a student film festival allows kids to show off their work and watch as their face lights up the big screen. Everyone in the camp takes home a DVD with their performance to show to family and friends.
