Learn to Take Photos and Use Them as Digital Art

Learn two different, but complementary subjects in one amazing camp experience. For parts of each day you will be immersed in the dynamic world of digital photography. During daily photo safaris around campus, you’ll learn important shooting and composition skills.

When back in the lab your computer becomes your “digital darkroom” while learning a range of Photoshop® editing techniques. For the other half of the week you will set your sights on learning about graphic design.

What You’ll Learn: Adventures in Digital Photography & Graphic Design

• How to use a camera and its features
• Basic digital photography shooting and composition techniques
• How to use Photoshop® for Photography
• How to use Photoshop® for graphic design
• How to use Illustrator® for graphic design

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects.

Who Should Attend: Adventures in Digital Photography & Graphic Design
Ages 8-12 | Beginner – Advanced | No Photography, Artistic or Design Skills Required

This course is designed for aspiring photographers, artists and graphic designers. This course will challenge creative young minds.

DMA provides industry-standard computers and software. However students should provide their own digital camera, as it’s best to learn with your own camera. DMA is not responsible for lost or stolen equipment.
